Virendra Sehwag was born on 20 October 1978, in Delhi.His father krishan is a grain merchant. Sehwag has two older sisters manju, anju and younger brother vinod.
He did his schooling in Arora Vidya School, Delhi. He spent his childhood in a joint family.
He is also know by his nickname “Veeru”. He is one of the top Indian batsmen.
He is holding a record of highest score made by an Indian in test cricket. He made his first test debut in 2001 and ODI debut in 1998. ). He is a blistering right-handed opening batsman and a right-arm off-spin bowler.
